ME'GRIM, n. [ L. hemicrania, half the head.] Properly, a pain in the side of the head; hence, a disorder of the head; vertigo.

periodical and confined to one side of the head.
A fancy; a whim; a freak; a humor; esp.,
in the plural, lowness of spirits.
