REP'TILE, a. [L. reptilis, from repo, to creep, Gr. See Creep.]
REP'TILE, n.
Creeping; moving on the
belly, or by means of small and short legs.
Hence: Groveling; low; vulgar; as, a
reptile race or crew; reptile vices.
